Although I have posted many times things from Kamakura, I have never posted about its station, this one. Without a doubt one of the most mundane stations I have seen but it doesn't matter because Kamakura itself has countless things to see. Notice the Shintoistic rope (shimenawa/しめ縄/注連縄) over the exit signifying that the Kamakura as a whole is purified, thanks to its main shrine, Tsurugaoka Hachimangu (鶴岡八幡宮)
