(3453) No, it isn't just in Kyoto...

...that you can see the "thousand torii" (senbon torii/千本鳥居) i.e. the many consecutive and often red gates found in the Shinto shrines of the god Inari --it's just that in Kyoto, at Fushimi Inari Taisha (伏見稲荷大社) you can see a lot of them (National Tourism Organization says they are 10,000 so perhaps they are). At any rate, these ones here are at the Tomioka Hachimangu (富岡八幡宮) shrine in Tokyo's Koto Ward (江東区).
