As we have said before, in Japan, and particularly in Kanto, between natural disasters and WWII, there are few things that have survived intact from the past. This is why sometimes the Japanese try to revive old architecture (and particularly that of the Edo Period) in commercial districts of various cities. Here is one such street near Odawara castle.
