Although I pass from Ueno station at least once a week, I don't think I've posted before this stained glass which is near the Ginza Line station and which shows many of the things that make Ueno, Ueno: the statue of "the last samurai" Saigo Takamori (西郷 隆盛, 1828-1877), the museums, the old race track, Shinobazu (不忍) lake and, of course, the panda in the big zoo.
