...the only thing that has changed is that the smoking area in front of Shinjuku Station's west exit has moved a little further, on the other side of the street (you can see the glass panels). And of course the crowds but for this Covid-19 is to blame so it won't be long before we see them again. Other than that, it's the same real picture I have in my mind from Tokyo and that I saw on July 22, 2009 when I first came to Japan. See also "July morning" -not that, this.
