(1723) Flowery unpacking


It's one of the things that catch you unawares in Japan: someone gives you a packet as a gift saying "they are senbei crackers" which, as frequent Nihon Arekore readers know are the traditional Japanese version of junk-food. He does say that they are from a good company (it's called "Kakiyama"/柿山) and you start suspecting something from the wrapping...


...but what you see when you open the box...


...certainly doesn't make you think "junk-food".
