(1627) Still speaking of Kyoto -from an architectural point of view


This is the first thing you see when you exit the Kyoto Station from the north side. It's called "Kyoto Tower" (京都タワー -in Japanese too), it's 430 ft high, it was completed in 1964 and it's on the top of a hotel. Which hotel, as I have heard several Japanese put it, is the best place to stay in Kyoto because it's the only place from where you can't see Kyoto Tower. 



It doesn't get much better at night either.
