(1632) Why this came to me me today...


...with the heat index at 119°F is something I don't really get but at any rate, it is a chemical heating pack for shoes. In other words, something that, when it's very cold, you put in your shoes to keep your feet warm. For anyone interested, these objects are collectively called "kairo"  (懐炉/カイロ) which literally means "pocket hearth".
