In Japanese, sour is "suppai" (酸っぱい/すっぱい/スッパイ). And there is a special pickled plum called "umeboshi" (梅干し) that is probably the most sour thing invented by man --not Japanese man, man in general, as a species. This candy is umeboshi flavored and their symbol is "Suppaiman" (スッパイマン). That is, Sourman.
