(2901) Osaka 27: Historical sweets

Nihon_arekore_02930_Osaka_27_Tsuriganeya_100_cl

Very close to Shitennoji, Tsuriganeya (釣鐘屋), a pastry maker selling sweets shaped as Buddhist temple bells in the same spot since 1901 i.e. the Meiji Period. The picture has lens flares (no lens hood) but I saw it afterwards and I liked the building too much not to post it.

(For a bigger version of this picture both in color and black and white, check my "Japan Arekore" set on Flickr).
