...these enormous concrete cylinders, right outside Shinjuku Station's west entrance (you can't see the station because I didn't have a wide-angle lens but it's just 20° to the left). They are four, two on each side and they aren't, as I found out later, urban art but exhaust ports for the station; when the station is this big, the ports will be huge as well.
