(1518) After a sento...

...or "銭湯" or public bath (from which there's no picture because, as I've said before, you're not allowed to shoot) a set of katsudon and kake soba was just what the doctor ordered for my first meal on Japanese soil. It could have been more spectacular but in most places of Tokyo choices become fewer the closer you get to midnight. The taste was great, though and this is a great thing in Japan: even chain restaurants, i.e. the Japanese version of fast food, are very good.

(For a bigger version of this picture both in color and black and white, check my "Japan Arekore" set on Flickr)
