Today is boys' day (Kodomo no Hi/子供の日 -yes, "children's day" but basically boys' since girls' is on March 3- and the symbol of the day is these streamers shaped as carps and called "koinobori" (鯉のぼり). Here with Asakusa's Sensoji in the background.
