...the shrines of the god Inari (稲荷), we have talked repeatedly. Here is one advertising a festival at the Shirasasa Inari Jinja 白笹稲荷神社() shrine in Kanagawa's Hadano (秦野), proving for the umpteenth time that in Japan religious symbols can very well be cute. Or cartoonish. or both.
