(82) Waiting for the sun

I was saying the other day about the countless varieties of the pasta called ramen; this is certainly one of the more original I have seen: tomato sauce with olive oil, a little garlic and heaps of grated cheese. The restaurant, a small place near the Kawasaki train station calls them “tayou-chizu-men” (太陽チーズ麺), that is “’sun’ ramen with cheese”. This being Japan, people are seeing suns in everything.
