(1672) Cats, big and small


The Mitsukoshi (三越) department store in Nihonbashi has at its central entrance two statues of lions, inspired by those at London’s Trafalgar Square. Here is a more tame version of those statues at the entrance right across the actual Nihonbashi during a cat feature last summer. I'm wondering how many Western companies with Mitsukoshi's history (it was founded in 1673) would be willing to play this much with their image. Not that there are many Western companies with Mitsukoshi's history...
