(3216) I don't know what it means...

...about the state of judo in Japan but these fabric bags are made with a stitching called sashiko (刺し子) and which is used, among other things, in the jackets of judo. Their manufacturer is in Aichi and for the last 100 years it has been making judo clothes --hence the tiny judo jacket on the left.
