Eating takoyaki, arguably Osaka's national food, under Tsutenkaku (but immediately under it: over the shop's roof tiles you can see one of the tower's legs) is akin to eating a hot dog at Times Square. But they were great and not the least inferior to the takoyaki we ate at less touristic places.
