The first shop of the Kushikatsu Daruma (串かつだるま) I saw or perhaps noticed because there are many in Osaka. Kushikatsu are meat, seafood or vegetable skewers that are breaded and deep fried and where invented here, in the Shinsekai (新世界) area where Tsutenkaku is, by this store.
The shop's mascot is this angry cook who reminds you that it's a crime to double-dip. The date next to him changes every day so you can use the photo you take with him as a commemorative picture.
