...another specialty of theirs (and quite popular all over Asakusa), the kama-meshi (釜飯): rice mixed with various ingredients andcooked in these metallic pots with a wooden lid that are also used for serving it. Ours were one with vegetables, chicken and crab and one with saltwater eel (anago/穴子).
