...have a whole culture surrounding them and one of the characteristics of this culture is the illustrations on the exterior of the cars. Here, from a train going from Sendai to Shiogama (塩竈/塩釜) city, which is coastal and one of the most famous fishing ports of eastern Japan; the illustration is the name of the city, waves and a tuna.
