However, here I will risk the assumption that it was "something that will draw as many tourists as possible" -it's worth noting here that I don't remember having ever heard a Japanese say "Fujiyama"" they all always say "Fujisan" and the "san" here isn't "mister", it's a different reading of the character "" that means "mountain" and is indeed also read "yama".
