(1868) Kitakata...



...is smaller than Aizu-Wakamatsu (about 60% smaller) but much more spread out and with some very beautiful old buildings -mostly old storehouses that have been converted to houses and stores.


One of which claims to be a ramen shrine for reasons we will explain in the near future. 


Oh, and also because I forgot to put it yesterday, here's a picture from the station with sakadaru (酒樽) sake casks -like we said: there's a lot of sake in Aizu!
