...as seen from its entrance. Pretty impressive but it's a full reconstruction since the original was destroyed several times with the last and biggest that of 1868 during the Meiji Restoration and that of 1945 during the air-bombing of Osaka. The structure as it is today is from 1997 and all its interior is that of a modern building (with elevators etc.) that functions as a museum about the castle.
