...the red-faced, long-nosed mountain goblins are my other totem after Daruma and I go after them wherever I find them. Here. they took me by surprise at the deli meat section of a super-market in Ueno: roast ham, bacon and sausages from the Tengu Ham company from Kanazawa (金沢), capital of Ishikawa (石川) Prefecture in Honshu's west coast, about 300 miles from Tokyo.
