Since I made such a deal of the outside of the shop, I couldn't not say anything about its actual gyoza: a menu with four variations (broiled, fried/steamed, just steamed together with the other dumplings called shumai/焼売 and boiled in soup, the one better than the other. Like I said in the beginning, Utsunomiya has a reputation to defend when it comes to gyoza!
