(2846) With a little help from above

The hanging thingy on the young guy's backpack is called omamori (お守り) which means "amulet" and is something you get at Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines. Omamori are specialized and this one doesn't even take a lot of imagination to figure out  what it is for --if you can't tell just from the picture, the word under it is "judo" (柔道).
