I liked very much this, ahem, detail in Daimonya: in the back side of the shop, next to the workshop's entrance there is this room which hosts a statue of the god Ebisu (恵比寿), one of the seven gods of good fortune or Shichifukujin (七福神); I have written about them before. Although he has no known relationship with Daruma, this one is impressively large and the whole thing has a shrine vibe to it with Ofuda (お札) amulets from temples at his feet.
