(1910) They aren't the big temples/shrines...

...of Kyoto and Nara (and, of course, Tokyo!) but every time I turn at a corner and see one of those small, neighborhood temples/shrines (they are in the hundreds) I keep on being pleasantly surprised even when their blending with the environment isn't exactly what we'd call "harmonious" -or precisely because it isn't. This one is called Kagami Kumemori Inari Jinja (加賀美久米森稲荷神社) and is located at a small street in Asakusabashi. Since 1630.
