(1157) Kamakura's bamboo


One more Kamakura temple, this time Hokokuji (報国寺) founded in 1334, belonging to the Rinzai sect of Zen Buddhism and is famous for its bamboo grove. OK, it's not as big as the one in Arashiyama in Kyoto but is certainly worth a visit if you find yourself in Kamakura -which, for me, is more Kyoto than Kyoto.
