More than Fujisawa's city hall, a symbol of the city is the shopping center Meiten (名店ビル) next to the station --here with one of the biggest Daruma I have seen. It opened in 1965 and it will close this years because the building will be demolished; for the people of Fujisawa this is the end of an era.
