I don't know until when things like this will continue existing in Japan but even if they stop, I will be happy that I got to see them and live a few years around them: at a rather busy station in Kanagawa, a stand selling beverages and snacks without an attendant --the customer gets the merchandise, scans it, pays for it and leaves.
