(3197) Narita and Kabuki, cont'd

Nihon_Arekore_03225_Narita_Omotesando_Kanjincho_building_100_cl

Again at Naritasan's omotesando, a building with Kabuki-related decoration since, like we said the other day the city has a special relationship with that theatrical form. The scene is also from the play Kanjincho but beyond that, the shop at the right has also taken its name from Kabuki: it is called "Shibaraku" (しばらく/暫) which is the title of another very famous play from its repertoire.

(For a bigger version of these pictures both in color and black and white, check my "Japan Arekore" set on Flickr).
