Or to be more accurate, the first gate of Zenkoji, Niomon (仁王門) or "Nio gate" where "Nio" (仁王) are the two muscular gentlemen that usually guard Buddhist temples. And who, according to one theory at any rate, have ben modelled after the Ancient Greeks' Hercules.
