It's also the classic Japanese sweets like this "manju sakura" (饅頭さくら) i.e. steamed pastry filled with anko (餡/餡子/あんこ, red bean paste) and decorated with a cherry blossom petal, from the Taneya (たねや) confectionery that has been around since 1872. (This is from their shop in the Takashimaya department store in Nihonbashi.)
