(35) Kabuki as it should be

It somehow resembles the Shakespeare's Globe: a temporary theater whose sole aim is the presentation of kabuki as it was in the Edo period (1603-1868), when the genre was at its best. It is the Nakamura-za in Tokyo’s Asakusa, which is supported exclusively by Nakamura Kanzaburo XVIII and his family –the real as well as the theatrical.
