I think I have written before that in Asakusa you can still find rickshaw (in Japanese "jinrikisha"/人力車) the small, man-pulled passenger carts that were used extensively during the Meiji Period (1868-1912); today they are used almost exclusively as sightseeing vehicles. These days, one of these carts is a little different, having the shape of Japan's most famous cat.
