In my circles, "Nito-ryu" (二刀流) means a school of swordsmanship using one sword in each hand à la Miyamoto Musashi. I had to come to Japan to understand that for the average Japanese, "Nito-ryu" written with the exact same characters that literally translate "two swords' school" (二刀流) means "switch-hitter in baseball".
