...but these breads filled with cheese and the sausage roll where incredible. This is something that has really struck me in Japan: you can find extremely tasty things in the super-markets'cooked meals sections (case in point) and for a very low price. These breads for example, which in Japanese are called "cheezu-furansu" (チーズフランス) i.e. "French-style with cheese" wouldn't be out of place in any good boulangerie, their price was in the area of a couple of dollars and they could fill you up like a regular meal.
