Taito Ward has the rare privilege of hosting two pagodas among the very few in Tokyo. The most famous one is, of course, that of Sensoji in Asakusa. The second one is in Ueno Park and is part of the old Kaneiji (寛永寺) Temple, very important for the Tokugawa family shoguns.
