Because if you did, you would see that there are shops there that deal with a different kind of fashion from different times.

...but they are very convenient: pre-made nigiri sushi rice portions --you buy a little sashimi too and you can make your own sushi at home very easily!

But especially in Japan, February 22 is specially dedicated to them because it's "ni-ni-ni" (二二二) that is "two-two-two" which sounds like "nyan-nyan-nyan" (にゃん, にゃん, にゃん) which is a cat's meow in Japanese. Today, we have one more pair of twos so the whole thing is multiplied to "nyan-nyan-nyan-nyan-nyan".

Αλλά ειδικά στην Ιαπωνία, η 22 Φεβρουαρίου είναι ειδικά αφιερωμένη σ' αυτές επειδή είναι "νι-νι-νι" (二二二) δηλαδή "δύο-δύο-δύο" που μοιάζει με το "νιαν-νιαν-νιαν" (にゃん, にゃん, にゃん) που είναι το νιαούρισμα στα ιαπωνικά. Φέτος που έχουμε ένα ακόμα ζευγάρι δυάρια, το πράγμα πολλαπλασιάζεται σε "νιαν-νιαν-νιαν-νιαν-νιαν".

...I only know Vietnam from the war and the films about it from the 1970s and 1980s so I don't know much about its alcohol culture. But apparently it exists.
