(3615) Χαρά σε πείσμα των πάντων

Nihon_Arekore_03650_Ceremony_hall_opening_100_cl

In Japan, funerals usually involve wakes which, because of lack of space, are held in rental halls called "ceremony hall" (セレモニーホール) --these spaces cover all procedures before cremation although crematoriums also have their own ceremony halls for convenience. Here, a new ceremony hall, somewhere in Kanagawa, on the day of its grand opening, with the standard celebratory red and white tents, standard special flower decorations used in openings (not funerals) and with stands selling yakitori skewers: death is death but festive atmosphere is festive atmosphere.
