The birthday of Xiang-Xiang (my Chinese is non-existent: in Japanese she's written and called Shan-Shan/シャンシャン) the young panda that was born in Ueno Zoo three years ago was in June but since there are fewer people around, the station has still on the birthday cake it (and the Atré shopping center that shares its building) set up for the little bear. And of course has decorated it with the usual messages about distancing, masks and other anti-corona measures.
(For a bigger version of this picture both in color and black and white, check my "Japan Arekore" set on Flickr).
