As I was saying the other day all the stations on the metro's Ginza Line, the first underground railway in the Far East (it opened on 12/30/1927) are being renovated. Here, one of the ticket control gates in Ueno Station with a wooden, mechanical turnstile in the middle so that the older will remember (and yes, Japan does have people that old) and the younger will learn.
