It doesn’t work in other languages but in Japanese it goes like this: the particular doll is called “こけし” (kokeshi) and the eraser is called “消しゴム” (keshi-gomu); therefore, a kokeshi doll-eraser is called “kokeshi-gomu”. And we laughed and laughed…
