(2712) Getting back to vending machines...

...after a long time, here's one that combines production and selling --the first I've seen so far.

(2711) How can you not like...

...a (mainly) picture book author whose main characters are Daruma, a tengu and a murder of crows? The gentleman's name is Satoshi Kako (加古里子/かこさとし) and the poster is for an exhibition about his work.

...έναν συγγραφέα (βασικά) παιδικών εικονογραφημένων βιβλίων που έχουν για πρωταγωνιστές τον Νταρούμα, ένα τένγκου και μια παρέα από κοράκια; Ο κύριος λέγεται Σατόσι Κάκο (加古里子/かこさとし) και η αφίσα είναι για μια έκθεση σχετικά με το έργο του.

Αλλά σοβαρά τώρα: πώς μπορώ να μη βάλω παπούτσια σούσι; (Τα σχέδια είναι τα ονόματα των διαφόρων ψαριών όπως τα βρίσκεις στα μενού των σούσι-για).

At the "girls bar" (gaaruzu baa/ガールズバー) called "Cherry Bom" (no "b")? At the skull and crossbones with the bowties and the little hearts? At the "Jazzy Cross" bar downstairs? At the ninja star? Where?

Από το "μπαρ με κορίτσια" (γκάαρουζου μπάα/ガールズバー) που λέγεται "Cherry Bom" (χωρίς "b"); Από τις νεκροκεφαλές με τα παπιγιόν και τις καρδούλες; Από το μπαρ "Jazzy Cross" από κάτω; Από το αστεράκι των νίντζα; Από πού;

...are one of the things that at first confuse visitors to Japan. And sometimes, the restaurants are too specialized like this one that doesn't just specialize in chicken but in --what, one wonders...

...είναι ένα από τα πράγματα που στην αρχή δυσκολεύουν τους επισκέπτες στην Ιαπωνία. Και μερικές φορές τα εστιατόρια είναι υπερβολικά εξειδικευμένα όπως αυτό εδώ που δεν ειδικεύεται απλώς στο κοτόπουλο αλλά --σε τι ακριβώς, αναρωτιέται κανείς...
