...which train companies take very seriously: when someone in a wheelchair needs to board, a station employee goes with them to the spot where the car with the special space for wheelchairs stops, carrying a special, folding cover for the gap between the train and the platform. When the train leaves, the employee informs the station the passenger will get off so another employee will be waiting for them there.
