More precisely in the elevated pathway dankazura (段葛) in the middle of the main street Wakamiya Oji (若宮大路) leading to the Tsurugaoka Hachimangu (鶴岡八幡宮) shrine. Outside the Big Buddha, it doesn't get any more Kamakura than this.
