...besides cherry blossoms also means "sotsugyo-shiki" (卒業式) that is, graduation ceremony. And in many good schools, female students wear this combination of hakama divided skirt and kimono which, if I'm not mistaken was established during the Meiji Period (1868-1912); the cellphones are from the current period.
