Speaking of the hotel's decoration, because we were there near March 3 which is the Girl's Day (Hina Matsuri/雛祭り) there was at the lobby a set of the special dolls called Hina Ningyo (雛人形) that people in Japan use as a decoration on that day; in theory this decoration is only at the homes of families that have daughters but in practice you can see them everywhere: they are the theme of early March, before the cherry blossoms.
